Hello Midas Creek!
My name is Teresa Rossetti, and I am thrilled to join you as your new principal next school year. I’ve heard so many wonderful things about the Midas Creek community, and I feel honored to become a part of it.
A little about me: my husband and I have four children—three daughters and a son—and we’ve called Herriman home for the past 22 years. Time has flown by! We love to travel, and I’m convinced I was meant to live by the beach.
I graduated from BYU with a degree in elementary education and later returned to earn my master’s in educational leadership. Over the years, I’ve taught preschool, 1st, 2nd, and 6th grades, served as an instructional coach, and spent the past four years as an assistant principal.
Education is my passion. Nothing makes me happier than seeing students succeed and enjoy their time at school. My goal is to work closely with our teachers and families to ensure every student at Midas Creek has the best possible educational experience.
I look forward to meeting you all soon and working together to make this next school year amazing!
Dear Midas Creek!
My name is Brooke Franks and I am excited to join the Midas Creek community this next school year. I have heard wonderful things about the school and the community!
Some things about me - My husband and I have a little boy named Riggins. We also have a great dane named Flynn and a bloodhound named Wade. We love to travel, especially to Disneyland! We recently traveled to Europe this past December!
Education Background: I was born and raised in Utah. I received my bachelor's degree from Westminster College in elementary education and a minor in special education. All while playing on the Women’s Basketball team there. Go Griffins! I then returned to the University of Utah for my Master’s in Education Leadership.Over the years I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade and special education.
I look forward to meeting you all and I know it is going to be a great year!

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we want to ensure that every child is placed in a classroom where they can thrive. Our team is working hard to create balanced class lists that support the needs of all students.
To help us make the best placements, we invite you to complete the Parent Input Form below. This form allows you to share information about your child’s learning style, strengths, and any special considerations. Your input helps us match your child with the best classroom environment.
We’re also excited to announce our “Meet Your Teacher” event, which will take place on the last day of school for students in grades K-5. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to meet their teacher for next year and start building a positive connection.

Dear 2026-27 Kindergarten Families,
We are excited to welcome your child to our kindergarten program! Here’s what you need to know as we prepare for a successful start:
Early Registration is Important
Registering your child early helps us plan for the best possible kindergarten experience. Please complete registration as soon as possible to secure your child’s spot.
Kindergarten Readiness Testing
We will conduct kindergarten readiness testing in May. This helps us learn about your child’s strengths and how we can support their learning.
Summer Fun Activities
We’ll provide a list of fun, simple activities for your child to enjoy over the summer. Complete the activities, then bring the finished packet to the school throughout the summer and receive a new one. Your child will receive a special prize for each packet completed and engage with our administration, helping them feel comfortable and excited for kindergarten!

Launching into Limitless Possibilities
Students will be launching themselves into learning this school year. We will focus on setting goals, having a growth mindset, and celebrating our small wins towards our end goal. Our main priority will be showing kindness to all students during their learning process.
Each month, every teacher will select one student to celebrate how they showed reaching for the limitless possibilities at school. This could be academic, social, or behavior focused. Students that are selected will be announced, get their picture taken, and get a small treat and prize. We will send home a post card sharing the exciting news! Midas Creek students, get ready to LAUNCH INTO LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES!
