Midas Creek's Safe Walking Routes map:
1. Students must use sidewalks, which exist, on both sides of all streets. For any streets without sidewalks, students should walk on the left side of the street facing the traffic.
2. Busing service is available to those students living further than 1.5 miles from school. You may contact Jordan School District Transportation to see if your student qualifies for this service. If your student qualifies for busing services, we strongly discourage them from walking to school on an unsafe route.
3. STUDENTS LIVING SOUTH OF 12600 SOUTH should follow the westernmost highlighted safe walking route to reach Midas Creek Elementary. (North of Legacy Ranch Blvd. North on Flintlock Way. West on Black Powder Drive. North on Midas Quarry Road. East on Midas Gold Road. North on Midas Vista Road. East on Emma Mine Drive. North on Ticaboo Mine Road. East on 11800 South. Cross at crosswalk. South on Park Haven Lane to reach Midas Creek Elementary.)
4. STUDENTS LIVING ON HURON ROAD, OR ANY OF IT'S SIDE STREETS, COURTS, OR LANES should follow north on Huron Road, west on Swenson Farm Drive, west on Park Hollow Lane then north on Park Haven Lane to reach Midas Creek Elementary.
5. STUDENTS LIVING ON KOOTENAL STREET, SHAHAKA ROAD, PARK HAVEN LAND, OR ANY OF THEIR ACCOMPANYING SIDE STREET, COURTS, OR LANES should follow the highlighted safe walking route shown directly south of Midas Creek Elementary School. (North of Kootenai Street. North on Shahaka Road. West on Black Canyon Road. Continue north on Park Haven Lane to reach Midas Creek Elementary).
6. STUDENTS LIVING ON 4260 WEST, HARVEST SPRING LANE, BLACK FOOT STREET, OR ANY OF THEIR SIDE STREETS, COURTS, OR LANES should follow the highlighted safe walking route beginning on 12600 South and Harvest Spring Lane. (North on Harvest Spring Lane. East on Sacajewa Street. North on Blackfoot Street. North on Huron Road. West on Swenson Farm Drive. West on Park Hollow Lane. North on Park Haven Lane to reach Midas Creek Elementary).
7. STUDENTS LIVING ON 4000 WEST, SWENSON FARM DRIVE, OR ANY OF THEIR SIDE STREETS, COURTS, OR LANES should follow the southeasternmost highlighted safe walking routes to reach Midas Creek Elementary. (West on Swenson Farm Drive. West on Park Hollow Lane. North on Park Haven Lane to reach Midas Creek Elementary).
8. STUDENTS LIVING ON 4000 WEST, 12050 SOUTH, OR ANY OF THEIR SIDE STREETS, COURTS, OR LANES should follow the northeasternmost highlighted safe walking routes to reach Midas Creek Elementary School.
